Our natural products are vegetable-tanned using traditional methods and dyed and conditioned with plant-based materials, which creates the unmistakable vintage look of these bags. This completely natural process gives our leather its unique scent, which can be quite intense at first but quickly fades with regular use. The leather surface may show minor scratches or signs of wear, as our goats are raised free-range. But don’t panic! A little beeswax perfectly smooths out minor imperfections, enhances the vintage look, and highlights the individuality of your bag. The leather products from our “Gusti Leder studio” brand are manufactured in facilities in Italy and India that adhere to international labor standards.
