Which leather should you choose?—It’s up to you!
You can choose between three types of leather for your new product. Items made from cowhide or Buffalo leather are slightly sturdier and more durable due to the thicker material, whereas Goat leather products are more flexible and become softer over time. You decide which leather suits you best! Our Gusti Leather products are known for their unique grain and texture.
Products from the “Gusti Leder nature” line are handcrafted in Indian workshops using traditional manufacturing methods. This process creates the distinctive surface texture and ensures the material’s resistance to abrasion. Items in this line are vegetable-tanned using traditional methods and dyed and conditioned with plant-based oils, which gives these bags their unmistakable vintage look. The tanning process produces a characteristic leather odor, which quickly fades with regular use. The leather surface may exhibit natural variations. A little beeswax can be used to care for minor imperfections, which enhances the vintage look and highlights the uniqueness of your bag.
The leather products of our “Gusti Leder studio” brand are manufactured in facilities in Italy and India that adhere to international labor standards. This brand’s products are made from cowhide, buffalo leather, and Goat leather. The leather is chemically tanned, ensuring excellent dimensional stability. These products combine comfort with an exclusive design, making them your practical everyday companion. To ensure the consistent quality of our leather products, we conduct laboratory tests at regular intervals and make unannounced visits to the manufacturing facilities.
